We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical maintenance, project management, and ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of electrical systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Electrical Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence across all electrical activities.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of electricians and maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks.
Oversee electrical maintenance programmes, including routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades of electrical systems.
Manage projects related to electrical installations, upgrades, or modifications, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
Interpret and review schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate execution of work.
Utilise knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and optimise automated systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organisational policies during all electrical operations.
Coordinate with other departments to plan maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations.
Provide technical guidance on mechanical knowledge related to electrical systems and equipment.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections conducted, and project progress.
Conduct training sessions for team members on new procedures or technologies as required.
Requirements
Proven management and leadership experience in an electrical supervisory role.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
Extensive experience working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
Mechanical knowledge related to electrical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Prior experience supervising teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and organisation.
