Job Description

A full-time permanent vacancy has arisen within our Facilities Maintenance Department. Working: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Primary Purpose of Position

To Install new electrical infrastructure within Glenair, as well as conduct initial and periodic electrical inspection and testing. To repair and maintain electrical infrastructure in Glenair buildings.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To carry out inspections and maintenance on electrical installations as required in accordance with relevant databases. To carry out electrical repairs and installations as required to your degree of competency. To conduct initial and periodic electrical inspection and testing in Glenair buildings to your degree of competency. Produce statistical data/reports as requested by the Facilities Maintenance Manager relating to electrical issues.

Person Specification

Good Commercial & Industrial installation experience with most electrical containment & wiring systems, including data / networking is essential. It is essential to have the qualification City & Guilds 2382, 18th edition - level 3 Wiring Regulations BS7671 It is essential to have the qualification City & Guilds 2365, Electrotechnical Craft - Level 2 & 3 Diploma or equivalent It is essential to have the qualification City & Guilds 2391, Inspection & Testing - level 3 It is essential to have the qualification NET services AM2 qualification 5 years driving experience is essential
