Embroidery & Print Production Operative - Healthy Bean Ltd
Are you enthusiastic about a role where you can take real ownership and be in charge of the entire branding production process for high value contracts with leading public/private sector clients? If so, you may be our new Production Operative.
Our team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and high-performing Production/ Warehouse Operative who will manage our branding machines from start to finish. Working in a fast- paced environment they will create digital branding proofs, manage stock for orders, set machines up with the correct materials and select the relevant machine function.
You will work directly with the Production Manager and take the lead on the production on best- in-class branded workwear for our extensive, existing set of clients who are in long-term contracts with Healthy Bean Ltd. These clients span across Local Authorities, Universities, Health Organisations and Private Sector clients. We currently outsource the branding of our products but are now looking to bring this in-house following rapid growth.
We are looking for an operative who has 1-2 years of experience working across a large number of branding techniques (including embroidery, screen print, heat seal and DTF). We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, resilient, detail orientated and have strong communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating digital branding proofs and artwork.
Preparing garments for embroidery (unpacking, framing, changing thread colours and uploading designs.
Running multiple multi-head and single head embroidery machines at a time.
Operating automatic heat presses.
Monitoring the embroidery machines and carrying out basic maintenance.
Managing stock levels and performing monthly stock takes.
Managing production schedules.
Responding to customer queries.
Dispatching orders on a courier account.
Manual handling requiring a reasonable level of physical fitness.
Ensuring highest levels of quality control are achieved and maintained.
Upholding health and safety through following safe working practices and maintaining a safe working environment.
Assisting in pick and pack of orders
Working around the warehouse
REQUIREMENTS
No experience required but a passion for embroidery and working with garments
A quick learner and willing to develop new skills
Enthusiasm for developing knowledge of new systems and working processes.
Combine a creative eye with keen attention to detail, to ensure exceptional levels of quality control.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Be a reliable timekeeper comfortable with managing challenging deadlines.
Able to keep working areas clean and tidy.
Comfortable working independently.
Have good IT skills with an aptitude for getting to grips with new software.
Strong teamwork ethic and enjoys developing good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
WHATS ON OFFER
Flexibility for either Part-time / Full time
Salary: o Part-time: c.13 - 15 / hour o Full time: c.24,000 - c.27,000
Commission / Discretionary bonuses dependent on performance.
Based in Harlow and on-site.
