Employee Relations Advisor
Location: Hybrid, home working with some national travel across our portfolio of home and schools as and when required
Salary: 35,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week
Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential

As our experienced Employee Relations Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for managers, providing expert guidance and support on all ER matters. You'll ensure cases are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with our values.

What you'll get to do:



ER Case Management:

Advise managers, handle investigations, disciplinaries, and appeals, ensuring timely resolution.

Policy & Compliance:

Embed HR policies, provide advice on employment law, and maintain accurate records.

Manager Coaching:

Upskill managers in HR policy application.

Absence & Flexible Working:

Manage caseloads related to short-term absence, probation, and flexible working.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Collate and analyse people data, including absence rates and ER trends.

HR Toolkits & Resources:

Assist in drafting ER toolkits, manager guidance, and policy updates.

Administration:

Oversee Sage People administration and generate HR reports.

You're Perfect For This Role If You Have:



Demonstrable experience:

providing HR advice in a fast-paced environment.

Expert Communication:

Both written and verbal .

Technology Confident:

Confident working with HR Systems and IT packages. Experience with SAGE HR is advantageous!

Meticulous attention to detail

and strong organizational abilities.

Effective communication

style to effectively collaborate with people at all levels.

ER Expertise:

Knowledge of ER processes and policies.

Strong knowledge

of employment law .

Ability to influence

stakeholders up to senior leadership. Advantageous if you have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management*
