Job Description


Are you a creative and tenacious individual, with an interest in enforcement and housing law? If so, this exciting opportunity could be for you.

We are looking for an Enforcement Officer to join the compliance team to lead on no-access cases for safety inspection and services. You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive front facing service and be our expert in enforcement activities. You will be required to prepare, serve and present legal proceedings as and when needed.

You will work alongside colleagues to proactively provide assistance to resolve cases of non-access while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be customer focused and be experienced in litigation. A CIH Level 4 qualification or an equivalent related tenancy law qualification would be desirable.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and a hybrid working style is an option.

About The Candidate

To be considered for the role of Enforcement Officer, you will be / have:

  • Have experience working within a housing or community safety related environment.
  • Have experience of court litigation, Housing Law and Equality Act legislation.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Have experience of working with key partners to deliver shared objectives.
  • Be customer focused, with an ability and drive to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.
