As an Assessor/Trainer in our Engineering department, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing apprentices' skills and guiding them towards success.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on

Electrical Tutor/Assessor

to join our Peterborough team. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who enjoys developing others and wants to transition into teaching or assessment--full training and support will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing



Delivering practical electrical training to small groups of learners Supporting students through structured theory sessions, assessments, and one-to-one feedback Maintaining accurate learner records and ensuring progress toward qualification Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe training environment Contributing to continual improvement of training and assessment standards

As an Assessor/Trainer, you will:



Provide support and training to learners within their workplace. Assess learners' competence in alignment with industry and qualification standards. Record assessment outcomes accurately. Assist in preparing learners for their End Point Assessment. Maintain meticulous records for candidates using both written and computer-generated formats.

What We're Looking For:



Passion for training and development. Experience within related industries. Team player Willing to travel Strong on-site experience in installation and testing Level 3 qualifications in 18th Edition (BS 7671) and Inspection & Testing Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, or TAQA) preferred Clear, professional communication style with a practical approach to teaching Previous teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage (training provided
