To support and assist the Buyers in delivering the business strategy for our organisation.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Support and assist the Senior Buyer in buying branded footwear ranges from global sports brands
Supporting the Senior Buyer to help build commercially viable product ranges that reflects the schuh brand image and current trends
Working closely with the Merchandising team and with guidance of the Senior Buyer to manage and deliver the strategy for their department and achieve target intake margins/sales and profit plan
Ensure that department ranges are bought and delivered on time and within OTB requirements
Working closely with the merchandising team to with the direction from Senior Buyer
Using sales and performance information to suggest areas for maximizing all sales opportunities
Understands market with strong competitor awareness
Managing and supporting BAA's on the team
Ambassador for the Buying team, working closely with Retail/Marketing/Ecommerce/Merchandising building strong relations with all stake holders
Supporting the Buyers/Buying Manager/HOB/Buying Director in any other areas required
