As an Environmental Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Mechanical and Climatic Test Department. Your responsibilities will encompass executing diverse and complex test campaigns on various missile programs, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. From multi-shaker and multi-axis vibration tests to high g shock, altitude, and humidity tests, you will contribute directly to the reliability and performance assessment of cutting-edge missile systems.

What you\'ll do:

Joining a team of approximately 30 engineers, you will be at the forefront of conducting varied tests that contribute to the evaluation of missile performance and durability. Your role involves managing all aspects of the test program, from initial costings to acquiring a Test House Certificate. Adhering to rigorous company and local quality procedures, your work will ensure that all testing meets the exacting standards required for missile development and qualification.

What we\'re looking for:

Essential:

  • HNC/HND/Degree qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, underpinned by a robust grasp of mechanical structures and analysis.
  • Proficiency in IT tools including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with measurement equipment and devices such as accelerometers, thermocouples, and strain gauges.
  • Resilient and self-motivated individuals with adept interpersonal skills.
  • Methodical and logical approach, coupled with unwavering commitment to safety across all activities.
Desirable:
  • Proven experience leading or participating in project deliveries within a collaborative team setting.
  • Previous hands-on familiarity with Siemens Testlab vibration control equipment or comparable automated mechanical test systems.
  • History of identifying and implementing technical enhancements to elevate overall capability.
