About the role



We are seeking a full time, experienced estate agent, who will see resales through from inception to successful completion and drive the business forward. The role is based at our Head Office in Congleton. The working hours for this role are 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday.

You will negotiate the resale of retirement apartments, seeing a property from market appraisal to legal completion.

Day to day tasks include:

Advertising properties

Handling purchaser enquiries and matching properties for sale with their requirements

Arranging property viewings and sharing feedback

Presenting offers to vendors

Supporting our customers every step of the way

Maintaining databases, reporting, schedules, and analysis

Regularly updating all sellers with progress and expertise to enhance their experience

As well as interacting with customers, solicitors, and other estate agents, you will also be involved with preparing and maintaining marketing, updating sales particulars, customer correspondence and support the conveyancing process.

About you



You must have experience within estate agency and be able to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills. Attention to detail and strong organisation skills are essential. As well as having excellent communication skills, you will be positive, self-motivated, influential, analytical, calm under pressure and able to display initiative.

It is essential that you have excellent IT skills and be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment with a passion for driving the business forward.

Key Skills and Experience



1. Prior estate agency experience.

2. A good communicator, both written and verbal.

3. Excellent organisational skills.

4. Strong negotiation skills.

5. Self-motivated and able to display initiative.

6. Cheerful under pressure and enjoy working as part of a busy team.

7. Flexible, eager to learn and take on new challenges.

8. Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Commercial awareness and the ability to achieve sales targets. Customer service focus. An understanding of marketing techniques to help market residential properties.

As the Sales Negotiator you will benefit from:

You will be employed on a permanent, full-time contract, working approximately 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
