Summary of the Job Role & Purpose:

Responsible for general upkeep and outside maintenance duties to ensure that all properties across the estate are well maintained and presented to a very high standard.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensuring the Estate is presented to a high standard. This will be achieved on a daily basis through leaf blowing, emptying bins, pressure washing patios, care and maintenance of garden furniture, sweeping and cleaning outside guest areas across the estate. You will be required to assist in seasonal activities and maintenance across the Estate such as watering in summer months and gritting in winter months. You may be required to assist in our green initiatives and nature projects (duck houses, bug hotels, water recycling). You may be required from time to time to carry out basic gardening tasks such as watering plants, planting beds and/or pots and weeding, hedge trimming. You may be required to carry out basic outside cleaning and maintenance tasks across our staff houses such as gutter clearing, gardening or pressure washing. You maybe be required to assist in groundwork projects across the site examples of such projects are creating pathways, steps, patios and outside guest areas. You may be required from time to time to assist with basic tasks on the golf courses such as raking bunkers, divotting tees or marshalling the course. To be fully aware and comply with all fire, health and safety and hygiene regulations as required by Law. Any other reasonable tasks as requested

Personal Specification

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic, must do attitude with a passion for the outdoors and ideally hold a driving license. Being organised, with the ability to work alone or work well as part of a team and achieve a high standard of work is essential. An interest in gardens, nature and the great outdoors is a advantage.

The successful candidate must be over 18.
