On behalf of the CPS, we are looking for a Estates Project Manager Inside IR35 for a contract until 31st March 2026 (possible extension) based Hybrid working (2 days per week in office and remaining WFH)

Role Purpose
The Estates Project Manager will lead the delivery of property investment projects aligned to the CPS Estates Plan and strategic priorities. This role ensures governance, compliance, and value-for-money outcomes while promoting sustainability and inclusive workplace environments. The post holder will provide expert advice, manage stakeholders, and oversee external service providers to deliver high-quality estates solutions.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Estates Project Manager would be to:
Develop and implement estates plans that align with CPS strategic priorities, including relocation, modernisation, and rightsizing initiatives.
Lead and manage property investment projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards.
Prepare business cases and decision papers, including cost analysis and risk assessments, to support strategic investment decisions.
Manage external service providers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, service levels, and professional standards.
Provide expert advice and guidance on property investment, sustainability, and workplace design to internal and external stakeholders.
Represent CPS at stakeholder meetings, influencing decisions and promoting best practices across government property networks.
Maintain effective reporting and performance monitoring, providing updates to senior leadership and governance boards.
Lead and support team members, including direct line management of staff and dotted-line oversight of Area Health, Safety, and Facilities Managers.
