Job Description
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist fitout contractor on the appointment of an Estimator
Role: Estimator (Fit Out)
Duration: Permanent
Location: Newry & travel to sites in Ireland
Your new role as Estimator:
- Complete strong estimates of project costs
- Review potential tender opportunities
- Assist in completion of tenders
- Review drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with client on changes impacting costs.
- Create BoQs & take-offs
- Visit sites to understand scopes of work
- Work closely with QS, Procurement and PM teams.
- 3 years experience as an Estimator
- Strong fit-out experience
- MRICS Status is beneficial
- Previous tender experience
- Degree or higher training in Engineering Architecture or Construction
- Strong understanding of regulations and standards
- Ability to travel to sites (full driver's licence)
- Full right to work in Ireland
