The Role - Estimator (Construction-Led)

This role requires an Estimator with

strong, practical knowledge of the construction industry

and the ability to

price works in detail

, not just at high level. You will be responsible for producing accurate, buildable, and commercially sound estimates across a wide range of residential and specialist projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed and fully itemised estimates for bathroom refurbishments, kitchen installations, home extensions, and disability adaptations, as well as general renovation and maintenance works Undertaking site visits and surveys to accurately assess scope, access, sequencing, and buildability Interpreting drawings, specifications, schedules, and survey reports Pricing labour, materials, preliminaries, and subcontractor packages with a clear understanding of construction methods Allowing accurately for enabling works, strip-out, temporary works, finishes, and final fix Liaising with suppliers and specialist subcontractors to obtain accurate, up-to-date pricing Applying sound knowledge of building regulations, planning conditions, and

ompliance requirements (including adaptations and welfare considerations where relevant) Identifying risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities prior to submission Supporting tender submissions and ensuring a clear commercial handover to site teams

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
