We are a family-run business with over 30 years of success, and with the EV market growing rapidly, we're now seeking a knowledgeable, driven, and customer-focused Used Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales Executive to join our team across Anchor Cars, Vanlux, and Anchor Vans.

Overview


We are seeking a knowledgeable, driven, and customer-focused Used Electric Vehicle (EV) Salesperson to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the future of transportation and excited to help customers transition to electric mobility. You'll guide customers through the sales process with a focus on EV education, value-added product offerings, and market expertise.

Your ability to communicate the benefits of EV ownership, explain vehicle features and charging, and recommend aftermarket products will be essential to both customer satisfaction and dealership success.

Salary:

60,000 OTE per year (including commission)

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Customer Service



Guide customers through the used EV buying process with transparency and professionalism. Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs and offering tailored EV solutions. Conduct test drives, explain features, and highlight differences between EV models and trims. Assist with trade-ins, financing, and purchase agreements to ensure a smooth experience.

Product & Market Knowledge



Stay up to date on EV models, specifications, range, charging options, and technology. Educate customers on EV ownership benefits, including cost savings, environmental impact, and incentives. Monitor trends in the used EV market, including residual values, battery health, and competitors.

Performance & Administration



Achieve sales targets while supporting wider team goals. Accurately complete paperwork in line with standards and compliance. Support colleagues and contribute to overall dealership success.

Essential Skills



Minimum of 12 months' automotive sales experience with a proven track record. Strong interest in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full UK Driving Licence.
