About the job?

We are seeking a driven, hard-working and outdoorsy Event Supervisor to join our Event Waste Management team. The Event Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of waste management services at events. Acting as the first point of contact on event days, this role ensures that all staff and equipment are deployed effectively, waste management activities run smoothly, and client expectations are met to the highest standards. The Event Supervisor will lead on-site teams, including litter pickers, and coordinate logistics to deliver a clean and safe event environment.


The role will require travelling to event sites across the South-West.

Responsibilities for the job role:

Supervise and lead the on-site waste management team, including litter pickers and support staff.

Ensure all necessary equipment and materials arrive on site in good time and in good condition.

Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Oversee the setup, operation, and breakdown of waste management services at each event.

Monitor team performance and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of team hours, incidents, and operational issues.

Communicate effectively with the Event Manager, providing regular updates throughout the event.

Assist with staff briefings, training, and allocation of duties on event days.

Support waste segregation and sustainability initiatives in line with company and client objectives.

Ensure the site is left clean and tidy post-event to the agreed standards.
