Job Description

Nexteq is seeking an Events and Social Media Marketing Manager with proven B2B experience to lead the planning, execution, and promotion of marketing events and social media campaigns across our brands and global markets. This hybrid role entails frequent international travel, and you will play a pivotal role in elevating brand presence and engagement through memorable event experiences and dynamic digital storytelling.



The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, strong communicator, detail-oriented, and effective at managing multiple projects and deadlines. Key responsibilities



Lead all aspects of the planning and execution of international trade shows, customer events, webinars, and sponsored activities--from pre-event strategy and logistics to post-event analysis. Own Nexteq's social media strategy and execution across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook), ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement. Work with the wider marketing team to create engaging, brand-aligned social media content (posts, videos, stories, and campaigns) that supports marketing initiatives and showcases thought leadership. Collaborate with commercial and product teams to support integrated campaigns that align with business goals and enhance customer and prospect engagement. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage event logistics, branding, booth presence, lead capture, and promotional materials. Monitor and report on event ROI and social media performance, using data and insights to refine future plans. Leverage Nexteq's CRM and marketing automation platform (HubSpot) to manage leads, campaigns, and customer journeys effectively. Support the creation and distribution of email campaigns and digital marketing initiatives aligned to key events and launches. Build and maintain relevant contact and media lists for event and social media outreach. Stay up to date on industry trends, event opportunities, and social media innovations to ensure Nexteq remains visible and relevant.

Knowledge and skills



4+ years of B2B marketing experience with a strong focus on events and/or social media. Extensive experience in planning, organizing, and executing marketing events, both physical and virtual. Demonstrated success in growing brand presence and engagement through social media. Strong understanding of marketing tools such as HubSpot (or similar platforms). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident creating content for both professional and creative formats. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously. Experience collaborating with sales and commercial teams to support lead generation and business growth. Comfortable working with third-party suppliers, agencies, and event organizers. * Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, report, and optimize performance.
