The Role: Events Coordinator
We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic
Events Coordinator
to help plan, manage, and grow our portfolio of rail industry events -- most notably the
RailStaff Awards
, a glittering night that welcomes over 1,000 industry professionals each year.
You'll collaborate closely with our in-house team to ensure every event runs smoothly, while also bringing fresh energy and ideas to take them to the next level.
What You'll Do
Coordinate logistics, suppliers, and communications in the run-up to each event.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure brand alignment and audience engagement.
Manage event-related enquiries and support on-site delivery.
Support sales activity with warm and cold outreach to help secure sponsorships and partnerships.
Help shape marketing content for events, including emails, LinkedIn posts, and web updates.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is confident, organised, and excited by the challenge of making memorable events happen.
A natural communicator - you're happy picking up the phone and engaging with people at all levels.
A creative marketer - you know how to write persuasive emails and connect on LinkedIn.
A determined doer - you don't give up easily and love solving problems.
Essential:
At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant or transferable role.
A flexible, can-do attitude with a passion for events.
Desirable:
Previous experience in event coordination or marketing.
Knowledge of the rail industry (nice to have, but not a deal-breaker!).
