Based: SEALL Office, Broadford, with scope for hybrid working. The role will require in person working in the Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh region. SEALL operates a TOIL system to represent a dynamic calendar year.

SEALL is seeking an experienced and driven Events Co-ordinator who will work alongside our Creative Director and wider team to facilitate our performing arts events in venues across Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh via our annual programme of performances and events, our flagship Small Halls Festival in November as well as supporting the team on other projects that may take place throughout the year. You will be involved in every aspect of event planning, supporting the Creative Director: from inception and booking of events, consulting with artists and venues in advance of shows, local marketing in conjunction with our Marketing Officer, licencing, onsite facilitation, and post event reporting.

The Events Co-ordinator must have a wide knowledge of Scotland and the UK's cultural scene, as well as excellent organisational skills and be confident and competent in all aspects of events management. The role will be essential to the smooth running of an ambitious, dynamic, and diverse array of live and livestreamed events in music, theatre, dance, literature, and children's shows in venues across Skye, Raasay, and Lochalsh.

The post requires a personal ability to establish good, long lasting working relationships with artists, external promoters, venue managers, community groups, accommodation and food providers and performers etc, delivering an excellent service from introduction to completion. You will have a firm grasp of value within the industry and will be aware of the associated pressures of working in the arts, in both a commercial and third sector capacity. The role is based at SEALL's office in Broadford, Skye, with reasonable flexible working options available on agreement with the Creative Director and requires the candidate to work events where required as SEALL's representative and is not defined to office working. The candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends as events demand and be able to work independently and remotely around the region as events dictate.
