Housebuilder Media, the leading information provider for the housebuilding industry, is looking for an enthusiastic person to join its small team based on the Southbank. The events coordinator will provide events support to aid the delivery of high quality corporate events to business magazine Housebuilder.
Administration experience is required, along with strong organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be capable of working on their own initiative, managing multiple tasks calmly and efficiently and responding to the changing needs of a busy work environment. They will be an organised and proactive individual, with some experience in coordinating corporate events.
Comprehensive computer skills, typing proficiency and database experience are essential. As are excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong desire to be involved in events management and will be willing to play a key support role for a small busy team. Travel is required to the UK based events (Approx 10) and this does include some early mornings, evenings and overnight stays.

Key responsibilities:
The events coordinator will support all activities in relation to the events of a small and friendly media team. Responsibilities will include - but not be limited to - the following:
Event support
Administrative support to work alongside the team administrator
Responding to event enquiries
Be responsible for the sending of VIP invitations to events.
Preparation of event paperwork, including table plans and menus
Assist with the production of delegate packs
Creation of badges and place cards with team administrator
Help monitor event performance and gather attendee feedback
Liaising with external suppliers and operation teams
Work with Canva on the design elements for marketing events
Attend events (10 per year all UK based) - Assist at registration desk at events and provide support to successfully deliver each event - some evening work and overnight stays included
Assist with processing Awards entries for both the Housebuilder Product Award and Housebuilder Awards alongside the team administrator
Update the Housebuilder social media profiles for both events and the magazine
