Event Coordinator Location: Portsmouth
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: 27,000 per annum, plus fantastic benefits

About the Role
As a key member of our events team, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination and delivery of weddings and private events. From the initial enquiry to the final farewell, you'll ensure every detail is executed flawlessly - delivering exceptional service and truly memorable occasions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with couples and clients to plan bespoke weddings and events
• Coordinate all elements of the day - from catering and decor to entertainment and logistics
• Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth event execution
• Conduct venue tours and client meetings, offering expert advice and support throughout
• Manage event timelines, budgets and post-event feedback
• Be present on the day of events to oversee set-up and provide on-site coordination

• Previous experience in wedding or event coordination (or similar customer-facing planning role)
• Outstanding organisation and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Calm, professional manner under pressure and tight timelines
• High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules
