Executive Assistant to Director (Colleges)



40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary Range: 32,178 - 40,389 per annum



(Starting salary will be subject to relevant experience and qualifications)

This post will be based onsite at Ruskin Mill in Nailsworth, with a requirement for occasional travel to Trust sites around the UK

We are seeking to recruit for an exciting multi-tasking role that provides executive support within all administration areas to the Director of Colleges of Ruskin Mill Trust.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide initial cover for a period of maternity leave for the existing post holder. Upon the return of the substantive post holder, the appointed Executive Assistant will provide support and carry out duties aligned with this role for another Director within the Trust.

The post holder will contribute to the whole life of the Colleges and the Ruskin Mill Trust Civil Service, always remembering that the core purpose is to provide exceptional service and support to enable others to improve the education and lives of our pupils, students and adults. You will be expected to embrace, articulate and work with the Trust's objectives, vision, values, purpose and method.

Executive Assistant will be expected to:



Provide proactive administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Colleges. Maintain diaries and schedule individual and group meetings as required. Arrange travel and accommodation details for Director of Colleges and other Managers as required. To manage emails and incoming correspondence and paperwork in an effective manner. To update and draft policies as required in line with Ruskin Mill Civil Service to ensure compliance. To assist the Director of Colleges in the preparation of presentational materials and other documentation for wider internal and external circulation. To assist the Director of Colleges in forward planning and keeping abreast of impending deadlines, keeping track of progress. To have sight of sensitive and confidential information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
To undertake this role, you should be highly computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and have previous experience in an administrative capacity including PA duties.
