Would you like the exciting opportunity of working in the busy Executive Support Office? We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable has excellent attention to detail and enjoys multi-tasking. The role is to provide a high standard of administrative and secretarial support to SLT, the Leader and the Chair, ensuring a professional, efficient and confidential service. You will support the Executive Support Officer to ensure that the SLT office runs as smoothly as possible
The main responsibilities of the role:
Extensive diary management including co-ordinating internal and external meetings, ensuring all parties are available for arranged meetings and key stakeholders are advised of any changes to their schedule in advance. This will involve dealing with Senior Members and officers of the Council, other local authorities and outside organisations.
Email management - To review and, where appropriate, action all incoming email messages on behalf of SLT in a timely manner; delete or unsubscribe from all unwanted email.
Convene meetings, produce agendas, reserve rooms, meet visitors, order refreshments and, where necessary, take electronic notes/minutes of such meetings, transcribe and circulate information to the participants concerned.
