We have a fantastic opportunity for an Expense Ledger Assistant to join the team in the Solihull office. The purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments in line with company policies and procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Receive, review, and verify invoices and payment requests Process weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure timely payments to suppliers Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records Ensure all payments comply with internal controls and authorization processes Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve issues Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Skills and Qualifications:



Essential:



Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role Knowledge of invoice processing and payment procedures Proficiency in accounting software Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:



AAT qualification or working towards a professional finance certification Experience in a multi-site or retail environment Understanding of VAT regulations and accounting principles

Pay: 24,469.00-26,193.00 per year
