Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across various industries
Maintain accurate financial records, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and VAT returns
Prepare and process journals and adjustments
Liaise directly with clients, offering clear, professional communication and financial support
Work closely with accountants to support year-end processes
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience
in a bookkeeping role, with a track record of managing
multiple clients simultaneously
Strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Skills:
Experience using
Xero
and/or
QuickBooks
accounting software
Familiarity with cloud-based bookkeeping systems and digital document management
Payroll knowledge
and experience processing payroll for clients
Ideally the candidate should be at least part-qualified with either AAT or ICB, or have experience working in a similar role.
