We are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join our busy team on a part time basis (24 hours per week).
Bookkeeper job description:
Bank, Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger postings
VAT return preparation and submission
Reconciliation of control accounts (including debtors, creditors, payroll, VAT, PAYE/NIC)
Preparation of month end & year-end adjustments including prepayments, accruals, deferred income and depreciation.
Other ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified to AAT Level 4 (although not essential if suitably experienced)
Ability to meet deadlines on a monthly basis
A detailed and thorough knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero
Experience with other accountancy software advantageous but not essential
We are a friendly team of 5 and looking for a colleague who can not only hit the ground running but will be a team player and have a good sense of humour.
The job is being advertised as temporary, but might be permanent for the right person.
Rate of pay is dependent on experience.
