Responsibilities

Assist with daily cafe operations, including food preparation and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the team during busy periods, helping with catering events as required. Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking supplies as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain quality standards. Adhere to food safety guidelines and best practices in all aspects of food handling.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or sandwich shop environment is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is an advantage. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently when required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: 11.64 per hour
