We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation of Italian dishes. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will also play a key role in supervising kitchen staff, managing kitchen operations, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards Prepare and cook high-quality dishes under the restaurant's menu Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations Monitor food presentation and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry Strong knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff supervision Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively A passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
