We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and food preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and presentation of meals served in our restaurant.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus and specifications.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meal presentation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
