We've recently taken over a pub and want to bring the food back to its heyday. We're looking for a Head Cook/Kitchen Manager to take charge in the kitchen, cook solid pub grub, and help build our reputation for great food again.
The role
Cook and serve pub classics to a consistent standard.
Run day-to-day kitchen operations.
Maintain hygiene and food safety.
Manage stock, ordering and basic cost control.
Support and train kitchen staff.
Chance to introduce specials once settled.
You
Comfortable running a kitchen or ready to step up.
Confident cooking pub food.
Reliable, organised and calm during busy periods.
Straightforward communicator who takes pride in their work.
