Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, financial oversight, and human resources, with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the practice, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the dental team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among staff members. Manage day-to-day operations of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation. Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Handle human resources functions, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development. Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with regulations. Foster a welcoming environment for patients while addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment while managing vendor relationships.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a dental or healthcare setting is essential. and Gdc registration and be able to nurse when required . Strong financial management skills with an understanding of budgeting and accounting principles. Experience in human resources practices including recruitment, training, and employee relations. Previous veterinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; however, a passion for animal care is beneficial. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike. A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement within the practice.
