About Us

BB Accounting Solution Ltd is a growing, client-focused practice. We need an on-site team member in our Glasgow branch to deliver accurate accounts, tax and advisory services. We run a

Xero-only

stack.

The Role

Own a portfolio and deliver end-to-end compliance with minimal supervision--moving work from trial balance to signed accounts and filed returns quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Year-end/statutory accounts (Ltd, sole trader, partnerships) under UK GAAP (FRS 102/105). Management accounts, cashflow insights, KPI packs. E-file

CT600 (iXBRL)

,

VAT (MTD)

and

Self Assessment

. Daily use of

Xero

,

Xero HQ

and

Xero Tax

for reviews, reconciliations, workpapers and submissions. Manage client queries and statutory deadlines (HMRC/Companies House). Review/support juniors and improve processes.

Must-Haves

Qualification (one of):

ACCA

(preferred) /

ACA (ICAEW)

/

ICAS

- full membership;

or

AAT Level 4

with strong UK practice experience

and

verifiable end-to-end Xero Tax filings.

Experience:

3+ years in a UK accountancy practice

(not industry).

Xero expertise (non-negotiable):

Multiple

Xero Organisations

(bank feeds, reconciliations, fixed assets, tracking, reporting).

Xero HQ

for client/task/deadline management.

Xero Tax

with proven end-to-end

CT600 & SA100

filings (computations + iXBRL). Operate autonomously; quickly take over an existing portfolio. Identify

legitimate, compliant tax efficiencies

(AIA/capital allowances, loss reliefs, R&D basics, director pay/dividends planning) within HMRC guidance and UK GAAP. Strong UK GAAP/VAT/SME tax knowledge; excellent communication and time management.
