We are seeking an experienced and proactive accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience working in an accounting practice and enjoys a variety of tasks. You do not need to be a fully qualified accountant, just be able to get involved in all aspects of accounting and be an integral part of delivering high-quality service to our clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines
Preparing annual accounts for a diverse range of clients
Assisting with personal tax returns
Confidently contacting clients to resolve queries
Ensuring all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience working in an accounting practice
Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT returns, and personal tax
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently
Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude
