Job Summary

We are a small but busy and growing sole practitioner law firm seeking an experienced

Personal Injury Paralegal

to join our office on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and capable individual who can manage a caseload of

Road Traffic Accident (RTA)

claims from inception to settlement and litigation, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing files from initial instruction through to litigation and settlement Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and good client care skills Handling a caseload of RTA personal injury claims (including portal and non-portal cases) Submitting and progressing claims via the

OIC Portal

,

MOJ Portal

, and

MIB and by email / post for over the portal value limit claims

Dealing with liability, quantum, and litigation issues Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and court forms Negotiating settlements and liaising with clients, third parties, and insurers Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements Litigation experience (Personal injury claims RTA (fast track and multi-track) would be preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Familiarity with IT systems related to legal practice is advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
