Rochling Hitchin, part of Rochling Industrial, specialise in micro machining high performance plastics, delivering components that meet stringent aerospace standards such as AS9100.

Serving diverse industries such as medical, oil & gas and defence, we have over 40 years' experience producing complex, high quality parts with tight tolerances.

Job Summary


The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the internal sales team to achieve revenue and KPI Targets, drive customer service and support external sales.

The role focuses on overseeing inside sales operations, developing strategies to improve sales performance and collaborating with other departments and Rochling sites.

The position is a customer facing one: management of key accounts, hosting customer visits and assisting with external visits will be required. Visiting sister companies and assisting with marketing - such as exhibitions - will also be part of the role.

This role will involve dealing with customers hands on, including pricing and negotiations, managing contracts and stocking agreements and processing of quotations and orders.

Duties



Sales strategy and execution. Develop and implement effective strategies maximise sales with existing and new accounts. Monitor and report the sales KPI's. Oversee account management and customer service activities. Improve out quotation and follow up processes to improve conversion. Maintain our high standards of customer service and monitor customer satisfaction. Daily management of the Hitchin sales team. Approval of holidays, conflict resolution, etc. Assess training requirements for development of team capabilities.

Experience



Proven experience in sales management. A background in engineering, plastics and machined plastics would be beneficial.

Pay: 42,000.00-47,000.00 per year
