Summary



We are looking for an experienced Sales professional to join our team.

The purpose of the role is to win new businesses & manage existing accounts as the organisation Sales representative.

Responsibility



The key result areas of your job are as follows:

Represent the company both by communicating by Email, telephone, Teams/Zoom and in person to gain orders for all company products and services presenting to the customers. Maintain clear contact with the BDM/ Company Director regarding specific customers operating both inside and outside of your designated territory to further develop the business. To build strong, profitable and sustainable relationships with customers in your region and to develop and grow the territory to achieve maximum sakes and ensures payment is received on time and in full. Ensure contacts are established and maintained with the key customers and business influencers with a view to account development through targeted activity. Demonstrate Commercial awareness through understanding and application of commercial and financial principles and ensure you view issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value. Plan and effectively implement sales calls and total area coverage in agreement with the Branch Manager/BDM and Area Directors. Maintain effective work behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure and demonstrate resilience in pursuance of goals and objectives. Achieve budgeted turnover and targets within agreed pricing policy and procedure. Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with in a courteous, speedy and effective manner within the agreed timescales. Aim to improve and understand technical or professional aspects of work and continually maintain technical capabilities through self-help/training. Carry out specific projects as agreed from time to time and effectively implement Company policies and procedures. Advise the Branch Manager / area Director of marketing information, including competitor's activities and pricing by means of weekly reports and sales meetings. Ensure that all paperwork has been processed at the correct time including daily report sheets. Keep and update customer record system. Ensure that all quotations are confirmed in writing and are effectively progressed. Responsible for ensuring the Company Health and Safety policies and Government Legislation is effectively implemented in areas where you work. Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures Present yourself in a smart and tidy manner in line with company rules, dress code and principles.

BioMedical sales / Diagnostic Laboratory B2B sales & field sales experience Experience selling to people on site Track record of winning new business & retaining accounts Friendly & approachable personality
