We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to oversee operations during the weekend shift. This role is essential in ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food safety and quality. The Weekend Supervisor will be responsible for leading the team, managing food production, and ensuring a positive experience for both staff and guests.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily operations during the weekend shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Lead and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in cooking and bartending as needed, providing support to team members during busy periods.
Conduct regular checks on food quality and presentation to maintain high standards.
Train new staff members on operational procedures, food safety practices, and customer service expectations.
Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or guests promptly and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising teams within a hotel or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Experience in cooking and bartending is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and guests.
