Job Description

La Petite Ecole Francaise, an independent bilingual French/English school in Ladbroke Grove, London, is seeking a full-time, permanent EYFS teacher (QTS) to teach pupils from Nursery to Year 1 in English. Candidates should be patient, enthusiastic, skilled in role play, and excellent at engaging with young children. The ideal teacher should also be trained in Phonics and familiar with the EYFS curriculum as well The British National Curriculum. No knowledge of French is required.

Our school has well-behaved pupils, small class sizes and a fantastic atmosphere. Safeguarding and child protection are top priorities for us, and all successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check and reference verification.

We are seeking a professional who :

- Is trained in or has relevant experience with the UK curriculum, particularly in phonics.

- Is able to work as a co-teacher with the French teacher to create a seamless team delivering the combined curriculum

- Is patient, enthusiastic, and excels at role play and engaging young children.

Your hours would be as follows: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8.30am to 4pm and Wednesdays 8.30am to 1pm during term time only. It is not possible to work from home in this role.
