The Role
The school is flexible and can offer positions across
KS1 or KS2
, depending on your strengths and preferences. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, tracking progress, and creating a nurturing environment where all pupils can flourish. The leadership team is supportive, and there is a strong culture of collaboration among staff.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Establish a positive classroom culture that supports learning and well-being.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL.
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil progress.
Participate in school-wide initiatives, CPD, and enrichment activities.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (placements included for ECTs).
A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and raising standards for all pupils.
