EYFS Teaching Assistant

to join their Early Years team from September.

The Role:

This full-time role involves working in a Reception or Nursery class, supporting the class teacher and pupils with day-to-day learning and development. You will play a key role in delivering the EYFS framework, supporting individual children, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils' learning through structured play and planned activities Assist with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum Monitor and record children's progress and behaviour Promote personal, social and emotional development Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents

Requirements:

Experience working in an EYFS setting, ideally within a primary school Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development A warm, caring and consistent approach Strong communication and teamworking skills Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Early Years, Childcare or Teaching Assistance) are highly desirable
