Are you passionate about supporting young children at the earliest stages of their education? A welcoming primary school in Nottingham is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from October half term.

The Role

This is a full-time position supporting children in Nursery or Reception, working alongside the class teacher to deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. Your role will involve helping children settle into routines, supporting learning through play, and encouraging the development of key social, emotional and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS Encourage children's personal, social and emotional development Help monitor pupil progress and contribute to observations Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment Work closely with teaching staff and contribute to planning and preparation

Requirements

Experience working in an Early Years or primary school setting Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum A caring, professional and enthusiastic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is desirable
