Are you passionate about supporting young children at the beginning of their education journey? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Nottingham is looking for a caring and motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after the October half-term break.

The Role

This is a full-time position within the Early Years department, supporting children in Nursery or Reception. Working alongside the class teacher, you'll help deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework. You'll support children as they build confidence, develop social and communication skills, and make a positive start to their education.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and delivering activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum Support children's personal, social and emotional development Help monitor and record children's progress and achievements Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to daily routines and preparation

Requirements

Experience working in an Early Years or primary school setting Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early learning principles A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude Excellent communication and teamwork skills A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification would be beneficial
