Role: Teaching Assistant - EYFS

Location: Redcar

Salary: 14.62 per hour

Contract: Temporary cover for one term

About the role

Source Supply is seeking a 1:1 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Redcar and Cleveland.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a caring and calming approach, who is confident in supporting children on a 1:1 basis. It is expected that you have a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and will be able to extend children's learning through high-quality provision.

The role is based in the nursery, so applicants must hold a DfE-recognised early years qualification and ideally have previous experience working within EYFS.

Requirements

All successful applicants will:

- Hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years

- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting

- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach

- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.

- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
