Are you a nurturing and reliable individual with a passion for supporting young children in their early development? A supportive and well-regarded primary school in Retford is looking to appoint an

EYFS Teaching Assistant

to join their Early Years team this September.

The Role:

This full-time role will see you working in a Nursery or Reception class, supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning and routines. You will play a key role in helping pupils settle into school life, develop early communication and social skills, and engage in play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities Support pupils' learning through play and guided tasks Promote personal, social and emotional development in the classroom Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment Contribute to pupil observations and progress tracking

Requirements:

Experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting A calm, caring and enthusiastic approach Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development Strong teamwork and communication skills A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Childcare, Early Years or Teaching Support) is beneficial

Pay: 85.00-120.00 per day
