Job Description

Aura Education are currently working with a fantastic nursery school in the L25 area of Liverpool who need a reliable, passionate, and caring EYFS Nursery Assistant to start ASAP. This is a permanent, full-time role in the nursery department.

The role is full time Monday to Friday (part time will be considered) 8.30am-5.30pm The Nursery is located in L25 area of Liverpool and is a 15-minute walk from the train station.

The successful candidate will be able to create a safe, engaging, and fun learning environment, helping children who may need additional support and general room assistance.

The Nursery school are looking for a passionate and energetic Practitioner to work with EYFS pupils, as well as supporting the class and teacher. They encourage a creative learning environment for their pupils, where they can grow and learn at their own pace.

Requirements:

L2 or 3 Childcare/Education Qualification (or walking towards) (Essential) Good understanding of the EYFS Curriculum Experience within childcare or educational settings (other experience will be considered) A minimum of 3 months' work experience with children
The Nursery are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, can use their own initiative, has a kind and caring nature and is able to keep children engaged with learning. Having SEND experience is desired but not mandatory, but you must be willing to work with students who require further support.

There is also a great opportunity for you to have autonomy and creativity in your approach to supporting learning and guidance through group and individual care of the children. The nursery would love somebody who is able to think outside of the box and can act as a role model to children.

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

Level 2 or 3 in childcare or equivalent (Essential)

Minimum of 3 months experience working with children.

Right to work in the UK

Engaging, positive and reliable person.

Be resilient, consistent, and passionate about supporting children.

Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one in process.
