Role Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced Soft Signage Printer Operator to join our Production Team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, quality, and consistency are critical.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Soft Signage Printer, producing high-quality fabric graphics for exhibition, display, and retail applications. This role suits someone who is technically minded, quality-focused, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a wider production team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the Soft Signage Printer efficiently and safely Set up print jobs in line with job sheets, artwork specifications, and production schedules Load, handle, and manage fabric media and inks correctly Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and registration throughout production Carry out routine machine checks, cleaning, basic maintenance, and fault reporting Identify and resolve print issues to minimise downtime and waste Ensure all printed work meets required quality standards and customer specifications Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet workflow demands and production targets Maintain a strong focus on health and safety at all times

Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceEssential

Minimum of 2 years' experience operating wide-format digital printers Experience with fabric / soft signage printing (dye-sublimation preferred) High attention to detail and strong quality control standards Good literacy and numeracy skills Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a production environment Ability to work calmly and practically under pressure

Desirable

Experience with EFI VUTEk printers or similar industrial wide-format equipment Basic understanding of colour management and print finishing processes

Education

GCSE or equivalent (required)

Work Authorisation
