The role -
We require an experienced Fabric Project Manager who is a dynamic forward thinking and a team player to join our existing successful fabric Birmingham team. The main object of the role is to build relationships with our client and deliver the programme of works.
The main duties are:
Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of a spandrel panel replacement programme on 6 High Risk buildings (as defined under the Building Safety Act)
Working closely with our Architects, Engineers, client officers
Line management of a Site Manager and Customer Liaison Officer
Managing supply chains and sub-contractors
Working with our QHSE Manager
Pre-Construction support
Ensuring adherence with:-
Building Regulations
Health and Safety
CDM Regulations
The Building Safety Act
Programme of works
Commercial targets and cost control
Design scope
Planning
Must have:-
SMSTS
Demonstrable experience with Gateway 2 applications under Building Safety Act
Cost management
Delivery of external works on High Rise Buildings
Social housing projects
Full UK driving licence
Strong customer and client liaison skills
Duty to Manage Asbestos
Role appropriate CSCS card
Scaffold awareness
Demonstrable Pre-Construction experience (including knowledge of RIBA Stages 4-5)
