We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to carry out duties in our Stores. This role will ensure the smooth delivery of components and parts into our production facility.
Maintain stock on the shop floor and warehouse which involves:
Accepting deliveries; confirming quality and quantity against delivery notes.
Ensure paperwork (e.g. Delivery notes) is passed to the office.
Put away stock and maintain bin locations.
Ensure parts are clearly identified with part numbers and / or labelled for jobs.
Responsible for receiving in-house manufactured parts and ensuring they are correctly identified and stored.
Picking parts for cases for production (yard and site).
Warehouse/ Yard & Production bays; maintain stock locations and ensure high standard of housekeeping.
Assist with preparation of parts for dispatch.
Loading of parts picked on a picking trolly safely without causing damage.
Assist with stock takes.
Notifying relevant personnel about any potential shortages for jobs.
Warehouse / Yard - keep tidy at all times and report any potential health and safety risks to Team Leader.
Carry out monthly stock checking in department and order stock as required.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Experience working within a warehouse assembly/manufacturing environment.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently, be flexible where required to assist with the department's needs.
Counterbalance and FLT experience advantageous but not required.
Good product knowledge.
Basic pc skills.
