Here at GXO Logistics, we're looking for a

Facilities & Maintenance Manager

to join our team at Wellingborough, supporting our newly acquired B&Q Bathroom Fulfilment Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage all site services, from building and grounds maintenance to security, utilities and compliance, while driving efficiency and supporting a safe working environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. However, some flexibility will be required, as this is logistics, after all!

You'll be paid a salary of up to

48,000

What you'll do on a typical day:

Manage all site services including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities and space planning Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and health & safety regulations Oversee contractor control, permits to work and emergency procedures Project manage refurbishments, renovations and office moves Maintain records for inspections, tests and repairs to meet compliance standards Control departmental budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions Chair site meetings and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Experience in a facilities/maintenance management role Technical knowledge of hard and soft building services Strong understanding of QSHE and security practices Experience managing third-party contracts and KPIs RQF Level 3, IWFM Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely (essential) 18th Edition Wiring and foundation degree in engineering (advantageous) Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to manage budgets and deliver operational improvements
