As Facilities Manager, you will cover the full spectrum of facilities services for sites within their remit, whether managed directly or via direct reports, with the aim of providing business occupiers with quality, cost-effective, legislatively compliant and functional workplaces.

You will oversee and ensure the effective management of internal staff and 3rd party contractors and consultants in the management of hard and soft FM services and associated health & safety and building legislative compliance requirements. You will manage all spending within budget parameters and carry out project management activities from time to time, as assigned by the Regional Head of Facilities and supported by the Global Workplace Design Lead.

Lastly, the successful candidate will assist in the collation and reporting of data for important programs such as ESG, Health and Safety and other programs as assigned by the Regional Head of Facilities.

A role you will love

  • Manage direct reports effectively, ensuring that each has a clearly defined job profile, regular performance appraisals and personal development plans where necessary
  • Ensure facilities remain legislatively compliant within the defined timescales
  • Collaborate with Procurement team to ensure contract tendering negotiation and award align with business standards
  • Manage suppliers effectively to ensure service and maintenance standards align with contract specifications
  • Maintain physical security standards and support the completion of client and information security risk audits as required
  • Manage and maintain effective financial control of the devolved budget, ensuring spending is approved in line with financial limits, available budget and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain a group of standard operating procedures for the sites, ensuring all Facilities team members understand core operating processes
  • Support the business continuity team through the maintenance of a department BCP and ensuring out of hours communications cascades remain accurate
  • Manage all space utilisation standards. Working together with the other FMs and the Global Design Lead
  • Be prepared to work outside normal working hours as and when required
  • Manage on-site tenants, if applicable, including tenants\' meetings, service charges and rent reconciliation
  • Support the sustainability and energy reduction programs (ESG)
  • Act as the responsible person for the sites - taking control of incidents and emergencies

  • Proven experience in a similar Facilities Manager role
  • Demonstrable Landlord & Tenant management experience
  • In country, regional or globally recognised Health & Safety qualification.
  • Excellent communication and exposure to Executive Leadership
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities well
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes at a high level
  • Previous experience in leading continuous improvement of process, systems and policies
