Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing a team of skilled workers. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in using modern computerised equipment. The Factory Manager will play a crucial role in assembling products and optimising workflow to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of factory operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage production schedules and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products. Supervise and train staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with management to develop strategic plans for growth and development within the factory.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Experience in warehouse management or manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality control. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of performance.
